Frequently asked questions

What is Friendship Receipt?

It's a just-for-fun test that tallies who gave more to a friendship this year across 7 questions, then settles the difference in coffee and meals. No real money or taxes are involved.

How do I use it?

Open your link with a nickname and send it to a friend. When they answer the 7 questions they get a receipt, and the result is added to your board.

How is the result decided?

Credit items (texting first, making the trip, listening, birthdays, planning) give +1 to whoever is picked. Fee items (running late, slow replies) give −1. A gap of 4 or more points means 2 meals, 1 to 3 points means 1 coffee, and a tie means you're all square. The split is also shown as your friendship share (%).

Do I need an account or personal info?

No account, just a nickname. Only the nickname and the 7 answers are saved, and anyone with the link can see the board.

Can more than one friend answer?

Yes. Any number of friends can settle up through one link, and your board adds up what you're owed and what you owe.

Friendship Receipt is a just-for-fun test with no connection to real money or taxes.
